Forever pushing the boundaries of golf club technology, Titleist has now unveiled a brand new line of drivers and fairway metals - known simply as the ‘GT Line’.
In a recent press release, Titleist confirmed the new drivers and fairway metals would be available in golf shops worldwide come August 23rd 2024 and would represent a “monumental leap forward” for the company and its beloved golf clubs.
As official Titleist stockists, the drivers and fairway woods are available to preorder through Clarkes Golf right now. Click here to secure your order for a Titleist GT Driver or click here to order your new Titleist Fairway Metal.

Titleist GT Drivers
Described in the press release as “the most advanced and complete drivers to ever bear the Titleist script”, the new GT Line will be available as three separate driver models, each offering their own unique advantages at the tee.
- If you’re after greater speed and forgiveness across the face, you’ll want to choose the GT2.
- But if you’re in need of maximising distance and flight optimisation, the GT3 will be more your cup of tea.
- More experienced golfers may want to reach for the 430cc GT4, which Titleist says will eliminate excessive spin and offer a more piercing trajectory.
Stephanie Luttrell, Director of Titleist Metalwood Production Development, said the following:
“The breakthroughs we made in material, construction, shaping and design weren’t possible in prior generations. All the advancements found in GT are working in concert to create the highest-performing driver we have ever made.”
But the star of the show in terms of club development in the GT Line seems to be the addition of an all-new Seamless Thermoform Crown. This ultra-lightweight crown, as seen across the entire GT Line, is made from a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer that has never been used in any golf club design in history.
Not only has this new material allowed Titleist engineers new and exciting opportunities in internal weight positioning, but it has also allowed for the improvement of numerous desirable attributes across virtually all categories of driver qualities. On top of this, thanks to new design techniques, the crown is seamlessly merged with the sole for an ultra-clean, all-in-one look.
“The density of this crown is approximately three times lighter than where we were in an all-titanium construction,” added Luttrell. “By wrapping the crown down to the sole, we optimise the mass distribution throughout the head, allowing us significant advantages in designing to our centre of gravity and inertia goals.”
But this is barely scratching the surface of the benefits the new Titleist GT line has to offer. Click here to find out more about the clubs and preorder your new driver now.
Titleist GT Fairways
Complementing the advantages set by the new GT Driver Line is the new line of Titleist GT Fairways.
Just as with the drivers, players can expect distinct advantages in each of the separate fairway models available - the GT2 and GT3.
- The GT2 fairway delivers high flight, low spin, and exceptional forgiveness and will be available in five separate lofts, giving players plenty of options to choose the best fairway metal for their game.
- The GT3, on the other hand, offers controlled flight, fast ball speed, and maximum adjustability, allowing experienced players to tailor the club to their specific needs.
Once again, the new Seamless Thermoform Crown makes an appearance in both the GT2 and GT3 fairway metals, drastically cutting the weight of the clubs and injecting them with all the benefits listed above.
“A line of high-performing fairway metals needs to excel in a number of different ways,” said Luttrell. “For most golfers, fairway metals need to be highly versatile. They need to be fast and long off the tee, and they need to fly high and hold greens. Playability and forgiveness are hugely important as well. The changes we made to GT fairways help deliver across all these performance attributes.”
