Cobra Putters to suit every golfer
Mastering the art of putting is no easy feat, as finishing off a hole can be the most tense part of the game for many golfers. But with the right Cobra putters in your golf bag, your chances of experiencing the euphoria of watching the ball sink into the cup from the green are much greater.
Cobra has been designing and manufacturing clubs since the company was first established in 1973 by former Amateur golf champion, Thomas Crow.
Over the years, they have expanded their product range with King Cobra putters to suit everyone and have recently brought out two new putter families – King 3D Printed and King Vintage.
Cobra King 3D Printed putters
Cobra is continually pushing the boundaries to create clubs that perform better in terms of roll quality and stability. And after teasing us with the King Supersport 35 3D Printed putter last year, they are back with a brand new King 3D Printed line-up for 2021.
-
Grandsport 35 – this Cobra putter has an oversized blade shape and a plumber neck design which makes it an excellent choice for players who tend to arc their stroke slightly. Tungsten weights can be seen in both the toe and heel to increase perimeter weighting which, as a result, boosts Moment of Inertia (MOI) and forgiveness.
-
Supernova – to promote MOI and forgiveness on off-centre hits, the Supernova has an oversized fang design. Because there are two 3D printed lattice sections made from lightweight nylon material, the putter can optimise the rest of the weight around the perimeter, ensuring stability.
-
Agera – with an oversized mallet that offers more MOI than any of the other Cobra golf putters in the 3D printed range, Agera is said to be one of the most forgiving putters currently on the market. The entire middle section of the putter is 3D printed – removing unnecessary mass – and the sole is made from a 261g steel chassis.
Cobra King Vintage putters
Exactly as their name implies, the Vintage King Cobra putters offer a more traditional styling than the 3D Printed range. The Vintage series effectively blends classic shapes with Cobra’s innovative technology – perfect for players who prefer to look at something more conventional behind the ball – and includes:
-
Sport 45 – for those who have some arc in their stroke, the King Vintage Sport 45 is ideal. It features a plumber neck hosel that promotes more toe hang. Its body is made from stainless steel and has two adjustable 20g sole weights.
-
Stingray – by far the biggest mallet within this range, the King Vintage Stingray has a multi-material construction that allows for a single adjustable sole weight. It includes a single bend hosel for a face-balanced feel.
-
Nova – widely recognised for its fang shape – offering enhanced stability and improved alignment – and a single bend hosel for a face-balanced design, the Nova putter is a popular choice for golfers with a straight back and straight through putting stroke.

The technologies vary for the different Cobra golf putters, but they share several similarities.
For instance, Cobra partnered with SIK Golf and Bryson DeChambeau to design the 3D Printed and Vintage ranges. They all feature the SIK Golf’s Descending Loft Technology, and the face is split into four sections – top to bottom – to provide a more consistent launch angle on putts.
