All the major brands offer left-handed drivers to help lefties lower their scores and produce the best drives of their lives - including Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist and more. So left-handed golfers can rest easy knowing they’ll be receiving the same top-quality products as their friends.
One in ten people in the world is left-handed, which doesn’t sound like many. But remember, that figure accounts for a huge number of the population. It also means that one in ten athletes are left-handed too - including golfers.
Because most golf drivers in the world are built for righties, left-handed golfers need their own tools to crush the ball off the tee and reach fantastic yardage with their first shot. Thankfully, left-handed golf drivers can deliver these results.
These left-handed golf drivers all possess the same materials, technology and advantages as their right-handed counterparts. The only difference is that the club has been orientated towards left-handed players in the manufacturing process, meaning lefties never have to miss out on the latest in golfing and driving innovations.
As an authorised stockist of some of the best left-handed golf drivers in the game at the best prices, you can be sure we’ll have the right driver for even the pickiest left-handed customers at Clarkes Golf.
Take a look at our selection of left-handed golf drivers below, or get in touch with the Clarkes Golf team if you need some advice before you make your purchase.
Nope! The only difference between a left-handed golf driver and a right-handed one is that the club head has been orientated the opposite way during the production process, allowing players to swing their club from left (the backswing) to right (the follow-through). So if you’re new to the game of golf and are worried you may need to make some concessions at the tee because you’re a lefty, don’t be. And certainly don’t assume you need to change your natural style of play to suit right-handed clubs.
It’s not recommended. As a righty, you’ll have spent your whole golfing life driving a certain way. By choosing a left-handed driver, you’ll be completely flipping your technique on its head, and won’t be able to hit the ball as accurately, or as powerfully, if at all. Having said that, there are some ambidextrous golfers in the world - golfers who can use both left-handed and right-handed clubs - though they’re extremely rare!
Generally, left-handed golf drivers shouldn’t be any more expensive than right-handed drivers. After all, they’re precisely the same club as the right-handed alternative, made with the same materials and technology, with a few minor adjustments to suit left-handed players. At Clarkes Golf, not only do we offer some of the most competitive prices in golf, but we also offer a price match guarantee. So if you find a left-handed golf driver at a cheaper price elsewhere, let us know and we’ll happily match it for you.
This is simply because there isn’t as much of a demand for left-handed clubs as there is for right-handed clubs, meaning lefties sometimes need to dig a little deeper to find the correct clubs to suit their style. At Clarkes Golf, we’re home to a great selection of both left-handed golf drivers and left-handed golf clubs in general, so feel free to browse our selection to find the clubs that fit you best!
