The SM9 has retained the classic Vokey look at address. When hitting full shots, the same muscle-back design is used but with a thicker toepad subtly hidden at address and straighter leading edge with less offset to give a more iron-like profile. This helps lower CG, producing a lower ball flight that checks up quickly on landing for added short-game control and positioning around the greens.
