Nope! The only difference between a left-handed golf driver and a right-handed one is that the club head has been orientated the opposite way during the production process, allowing players to swing their club from left (the backswing) to right (the follow-through). So if you’re new to the game of golf and are worried you may need to make some concessions at the tee because you’re a lefty, don’t be. And certainly don’t assume you need to change your natural style of play to suit right-handed clubs.

It’s not recommended. As a righty, you’ll have spent your whole golfing life driving a certain way. By choosing a left-handed driver, you’ll be completely flipping your technique on its head, and won’t be able to hit the ball as accurately, or as powerfully, if at all. Having said that, there are some ambidextrous golfers in the world - golfers who can use both left-handed and right-handed clubs - though they’re extremely rare!

Generally, left-handed golf drivers shouldn’t be any more expensive than right-handed drivers. After all, they’re precisely the same club as the right-handed alternative, made with the same materials and technology, with a few minor adjustments to suit left-handed players.
